The Ageless Minds Program (AMP)

Updated: Feb 27

Currently operating in three different branches of senior care homes in Vancouver, helping 100+ seniors with dementia in the community.

Working closely with Connie Paguio, Life Enrichment Coordinator of Amica, one of the biggest senior care homes in Vancouver, at AMP's first branch, I designed my program to target the effects of dementia that senior residents at these homes grapple with everyday. With my high responsibility as the founder and director of this program for the safety and well-being of the seniors I put in the effort to help, I have formed a larger team with each member going through the process of applying, taking an orientation, taking a TB test, completing an online training course similar to what a regular employed staff would have to do. With my years of experience with seniors in the community, I took it upon myself to train all team members myself and to allow them to learn on-site through shadowing.

A Look Into What We Do

Meet our team!

Every month we make meticulous Activity Plans, detailing the instructions, how to adjust the level of difficulty for each resident, and how it's helpful for the resident:
